Lean In session on Architecture Marketing

On Tuesday I presented a Lean In session for the Institute of Architects, designed to help architects get a handle on the many facets of modern marketing.

For anyone who couldn’t attend live, or would like to rewatch the recording, please click here to access the video.

I referred to several resources during the presentation, and you can access those here:

Edited in July 2023: Please note the client feedback questionnaire is now available to purchase within the CPD training Strategically plan your Awards. Also Google retired its Universal Analytics platform on 30 June 2023, so Cat Skreiner's Seeking Digital dashboard no longer processes data. You can search online for Google's instructions to install the new GA4 or you can access our instructions within the Architecture Marketing 360 CPD course).

The presentation is an introduction to the ideas, tools and tricks I’ll be exploring in greater detail in my new course for architects.

Architecture Marketing 360: How to get a helicopter view of what’s working is a three-week, 3 point CPD course where I’ll guide you through the six-channel system, step-by-step. I’ll share lots of free online tools and my strategic insights about how to finetune your efforts going forward.

When I’m talking to architects about their marketing, some of the biggest concerns they share are:

  • they don’t know where to focus their energy and investment,

  • or what they should even be saying,

  • or how to measure success,

So it all falls into the too-hard basket!

My six-channel system was created to address that confusion and overwhelm. It's a strategic framework that allows you to pick and choose elements, with easy-to-track measurable analytics to inform your next best moves.

What sort of things will you learn in the new course, and what impact will it have? As an example, one of my clients recently moved from past page 17 on google search results for their chosen SEO keywords, to fifth place on page one!

That's an incredible result that was entirely achieved by tidying up their back-end SEO, using free tools that I showed them. The only cost was the upfront thinking time to determine the right keywords, plus implementation time to change the metadata fields, before asking the google crawl bots to search the site again. This quick-fix had no monetary cost at all!

So if you want to get a handle on your marketing once-and-for-all – which means working out which types of projects you want more of, and how to connect and engage with those clients, so they choose your practice – this new course will provide the clarity you need to move forward with confidence.

I've deliberately kept the prices low – I know the entire profession is struggling right now –  and you can earn 3 CPD points too.

You can find more details here (including the CPD learning outcomes and anticipated start date). Book your place today, or email me with any questions you have - I'm happy to help.
