Q&A: We have a question!

This week on the The Drill, we kick off the new Ask Us Anything section, where you, our readers, can pose a question and we’ll put it to an architect for an answer.

The first question we received wasn’t directed at any one architect, rather the profession more broadly, and it comes from Dr Lena Belin, co-founder of Public Research + Design.

Dr Lena Belin, co-founder of www.publicresearch.design

Lena asks:

"In this age of digital everything, and customer/user led experiences,
do architects undertake sufficient research to REALLY understand what users want and need,
or are they just guessing and/or making assumptions?"

What do you think? Jump on over to Instagram and add your two-cent’s worth, and ask you friends and colleagues to do the same!
